Hostel Accommodation

It provides spacious structure with sufficient rooms which can accommodate easily the necessary number of students. It avails adequate uninterrupted water and power supply with peaceful and eco-friendly environment. Hostel provides cot and mattress, closet, study table and chair. Visitors’ room is available for parents and guardian.

Hostel Admission

• Hostel is compulsory for every student.
• Application for admission in the hostel should be made on the prescribed form attached with the prospectus during admission.
• Students are mandatory to sign a declaration agreeing to follow the rules and regulations of the Institute at the time of admission.
• Admission in the hostel will be accepted only after depositing the necessary amount of fees.
• Decision of the Warden/principal in any matters related with the hostel will be final.
• Charges once paid for hostel will neither be refundable nor transferable.

Materials required to be brought by the students

The following articles are necessary to be brought by all the students during the time of entrance in their respective hostels:

• Wrist watch(black colour)
• Sleepers:
• Mosquito Net: 1 (Single bed).
• Bed-Sheet: 2 nos.
• Pillow with pillow cover
• Blanket
• Towels
• Full-plate: 1.
• Steel glass with spoon:1
• Steel bowl:2
• Thermo flask: 1
• Umbrella: 1 no.
• Writing and drawing materials (Pen, Pencils, sketch pen, colors, clipboard, etc) along with stationary items.

Guidelines of the Hostel

 All the hostel inmates are responsible for carrying out trustworthily the following mandates so as to enable to keep the hostel environment peaceful, comfortable, and neat and clean always:

• Students are accountable/concerned for the care of furniture and other materials of the Hostel and put them neat and clean.
• Students are also advised to create the peaceful and eco-friendly environment in the hostel.
• Regular check-up of electricity, water supply and washrooms so as to enable to make them clean and serviceable are advised.
• Hostel Timetable should be followed.
• Electric light of the room must be put off at 10.30pm.
• Students who feel sick must report to the Warden as early as possible, so as to enable to take up necessary care of the patient.
• Full uniforms should always be worn. Costly ornaments, such as ear- rings, finger-rings, bangles, etc. are not permissible to use with college uniforms. They are also advised not to bring any unnecessary expensive ornaments in the College.
• Students are not allowed to stay back in the hostel’s room during the study-hour. If necessary, they must seek permission from the Warden/Principal.
• Ragging in any forms are strictly prohibited.
• While leaving rooms, the inmates should check lights, fan, etc.
• Cooking inside the room is not permissible.
• Students are advised to take necessary cares of their belongings. Complaints for any loss will not be accepted.
• Meals must be taken in the Dining Hall at the prescribed timings. Room-service or taking away the meal is also not permissible.
• Visiting time: every 2^nd and 4^th Sunday between 11:00am to 4:00pm.
• Visiting cards (two only) will be issued by the Authority.
• Students must submit pass-port photographs of the 2 authorized persons at the time of submission of Hostel Application.
• Authorized visitors should always bring the Visiting Card during their visit and should sign in the visitors register.
• Students should take prior permission from the Principal before leaving the hostel. Students must not forget to do proper entry in the concerned register also. Every movement either inside or outside the hostel must be properly registered in the respective registers provided thereof by the Authority.
• Students are advised not to bring any cookery items or use in their rooms. In any circumstances no hostel properties must be removed without proper permission.
• Medical records of the student should be submitted.

Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities

Students are encouraged to participate in the various sports and cultural activities carried out by the College from time to time. The college offers in-doors and out-doors sports infrastructures. Further, it provides facilities for music, yoga, meditation, etc. It also aims at providing and developing an inter-disciplinary characters and proving out the creative talent of the students.
